Kayaks put the "Sport" in our name. We rent and sell Cobra dive kayaks. We were Cobra's first northwest dealer, and chose Cobra because they make a roomy and stable boat with generous flotation. A Fish-n-Dive model kayak can carry up to three tanks and full northern dive gear. It makes a stable platform for gear donning and stowage, with the BC donned in the water. These kayaks can be pulled ashore, anchored, or towed behind the diver during the dive. They also serve as comfortable sight-seeing boats for a few hours' paddle, and can carry an adult and a child with ample picnic storage. The sit-on-top boats are also popular with surf paddlers, who take them out to the open coast to play.
Check with us in the late spring if you're looking for a good deal on a used Cobra. We sell off last year's rental boats starting in early May.
There's lots of good kayaking right off the back deck, and we also suggest paddling the lower and upper Cushman Lakes. For more efficient travel we recommend you rent a Necky Kyook rotomolded sea kayak. These come with rudders, spray skirts, pfd's and Aqua Bound paddles.
