I am still on a journey trying to become the best dog owner that I possibly can be.
I am constantly reading books, watching TV shows, and researching on the web.
I don’t always agree with absolutely everything a writer may say, but I try to glean information from them that works for me.
Some current reads I recommend are:
“The Dog Listener” by Jan Fennell
“The Practical Dog Listener” by Jan Fennell
“The Other End of the Leash” by Patricia McConnell, Ph.D.
“Cesar’s Way” by Cesar Millan
I also enjoy watching the “Dog Whisperer” with Cesar Millan on the National Geographic channel.
These books have helped me on my quest, perhaps they may also help shed some insight into the dog’s mind for you.
